The Rose
This Anita Goodesign The Rose Special Edition Collection consists of 45 blocks total and measures 40 x 72 at its largest size. Blocks come in four sizes. Includes a 52-page, full-color, printed tutorial booklet.
For Anita Goodesign's tenth Special Edition they’ve decided to create something entirely different. Instead of modular blocks that you can rearrange they decided to create one large artistic piece titled The Rose.
The Rose was painted using wide and varied brush strokes for a stylized, artistic look. The style of painting is very similar to the background of our Geisha quilt and Crane tapestry. The beautiful rose was then set upon a folded fabric background. The folded fabric creates the perfect background while maintaining a low stitch count. This Special Edition is among the lowest stitch counts and fastest to recreate. The entire project uses only 3 fabrics for the background, 3 for the rose and 2 for the leaves. There are also only 7 thread colors so rounding up supplies will not be difficult.
Blocks come in 4 sizes: 4.8, 5.8, 6.8 and 7.8
