For sale is a beautiful  Scandinavian Carnival Glass Vase
This is a nice Carnival Glass Sunk Daisy Rose Bowl made by Riihimaki glassworks, Finland ca 1928. I think it is made of amethyst glass with iridescent surface finish and decorated with geometrical floral patterns typical for carnival glass.  The glass looks amber and amethyst against strong light- see last picture!   In excellent condition considering the age! There are 3 small surface flake type chips to the edges of the feet which is typical for the way they are finished!  All these are only visible upon a very close inspection and otherwise blend in the shadows and reflections of the relief.    Measurements: 8.6 cm high x 12.4 cm wide. Feels solid and heavy for its size and weights ~473 grams. Shipping worldwide cost .  I am currently selling a milk jug / creamer in this pattern.
