    Description

    Chelsea Ship's Bell Clock US Maritime Commission Brass Case 5.5 inch Dial 7.25 inch brass screw bezel case. This is a really great ship's bell clock, made by Chelsea for the US Maritime Commission for service during World War Two. The clock is in all original condition. The clock is in great running and striking condition, sounding out the ship's bell watch in a quite loud and resonant tone. I did not polish the brass case, as many collectors want their clocks in untouched condition. Serial number on the case matches the movement, 299035, which puts the clock to use during World War Two. No winding key is included as I used one of my own. Most military ordered clocks were time only. If you have any questions, they will be gladly answered. Shipping always includes insurance.
