Doll Artist Repro JDK Kestner 221 All Bisque Doll "Sweet Pea" with wardrobe!. Condition is "Used". Made by Lorna Yates, "Millie" winner  GMDM.  Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This adorable 9" All bisque doll with movable arms and legs, was made and painted by me, Lorna Yates. I have been making and teaching doll making for over 30 yrs.  She has blue glass eyes, blonde mohair wig,  painted stockings and painted black shoes.  She has such a beautiful face with chubby cheeks, feathered brows, black lashes, and yellow red lips.    I have made all her clothing including her under ware with pretty lace trim and made from ivory cotton fabric.  Her pale purple cotton dress is made from vintage voile fabric and has old store stock ribbon, that ties in the back with a bow.  She has a matching hat with ribbon and pretty flowers.  Her hair has a big silk ribbon bow to hold back all the curls.  Her second Christmas dress, is made from soft burgundy silk and antique lace trim on the skirt. Pretty antique flowers are added to the front, and ivory silk ribbons tie at the sleeves.  A big burgundy bow is also included.  Her accessories are:  pearl necklace, hand mirror, teddy bear with bow, and straw basket with flowers.  She would be lovely to be displayed in a trunk or on a shelf, or in a china cabinet.  I do have a reproduction trunk for sale, so take a look.
