    Description

    This is an early Chelsea Clock, made and probably used by the US Navy. It is likely a Boat Clock.
    It has a 3 1/2" dial that was probably black with silver lettering at one time.  The bezel is 4 1/2".
    It is mounted on a mahogany base.
    The clock is running and keeping time. It is a time only clock with an 8 day duration period.
    The SN is 37837, which would put it's date in the 1905-1909 range.
    The Navy serial number is 0383. Very early.
    The case number is low, but probably was switch by Chelsea or the Navy Depot. It's number is #66477
    It does hve a knurled bezel. The sight ring screws completely in and out.
    It's running good.
