    Description

    German Lange and Sohne Marine Chronometer.
    Number 5639, all matching serial numbers works and box.
    Very good condition, pictures are part of description.
    Chronometer just back from a complete overhaul, certificate included.
    I beleive the tub and gimbal ring is made of Bakelite material.
    Gimbal ring crack has been repaired with epoxy.
    Measurement of  wood box: 7.25" wide, 7.25" deep, and 6.75" tall.

    For shipping I will be corking balance wheel, removing chronometer from box, wrap in many
    layers of bubble wrap and ship in a very large 18" x 18" x 18" heavy duty box to provide plenty of cushion.
