Handmade Razor and Stand

Description

If you are looking for a unique gift for someone hard to buy for, you are in luck!  This custom shaving handle and stand is hand turned in my shop, from highly figured exotic Cocobolo wood.  The carving really brings out the grain and color of this premium exotic wood.
Once the wood has been turned, a multi step process is used to seal and finish the piece for protection against the elements and years of enjoyment.  The resulting finish is glass-like.
This handle accepts Gillette Mach 3 razors.  One is included with each handle ordered.
The handle and stand you see in the pictures above is the one you will receive.  This is a one of a kind piece.

Cocobolo Rosewood (Dalbergia Retusa) is one of the finest and most beautifully figured woods in the world.  Cocobolo is a true Rosewood in the dalbergia family and contains diverse colors, including purple, orange, brown and other colors.  The best cocobolo comes from Nicaragua as wood from this source is harder and more colorful than cocobolo from other regions.  Tropical woods contained in my products are from sustainable sources that are FSC® certified, protecting precious resources.
