UPDATE
:  June 1st, 2021 - 7pm - I spent the past hour with a rag and some Brasso and discovered that the brass shines up beautifully.!!!!  (see 1st photo and last 2 photos).  It needs more polishing, probably another hour or so.

I owned the Rose Maru, a 36-foot Monterey Trawler which was renovated by Gerald McCabe.  The clock was from this boat.
8-Day wind-up clock made in France, key included.
Clock works and keeps amazingly good time.
Weighs  1lb 14oz and approximately 7 " in diameter.
