    Description

    Vintage/antique Chelsea ship's clock in black (Bakelite?) case with brass-toned face.  Serial number 483301 dates it to 1945-1949 manufacture.  It does work when wound but I am sure it needs cleaning/repair.  NO winding key. Appears to be some paint drips on the back (see picture) but not on the front.  Measures 7 1/2" in diameter.  In good condition consistent with age.
