    Description

    Zenith Marine Chronometer circa 1950s.  Has been tested and is in excellent working condition. Comes with a green felt padded, wooden outer mounting box which measures 8.75" x 8.75" x 8.5". The 3 tiered wooden inner box measures 6" x 6" x 6" and contains
    a gimbaled 8 day Series I or II Zenith Chronometer.
    This amazing timepiece winds and sets with the a crown on its top so no winding key is required. I have not removed its back in ordervto ser its inner markings.  It does however keep perfect time and the smoothness of its movement is amazing. As you watch the movement of its second hand it does not exhibit rythmic ticking movement its more like watching the flow of time!
